It is important that any issues raised within a fire door inspection or a fire compartmentation survey are clearly photographed within the report, to visually demonstrate the issue to the client. This also supports any recommended repairs suggested. We also record and photograph a sample check behind a building’s fire door architraves within the building, to identify potential issues to the fire stopping between the door frame and substrate, which may not be visual to ensure our recommendations for any works extend to protecting the full door set.
