North London Schools

As part of our available maintenance plan, five schools across this region - a total of 801 doors - have been inspected and maintained under the BlueSky accreditation standard every six months since April 2023.

Where a deviation from the original manufacturer documentation and/or BS 8214 against each school’s fire strategy drawings was found, each fault was recorded with the relevant recommended maintenance repair (or replacement) in accordance with accepted repair technique schedule.

Where the only remedy was replacement, new doors were fitted to meet the BMTRADA standard.

sThe findings were reported with supporting information for recommended improvements, reviewed by the client, and instructed to be complete before the next scheduled inspection.

The accreditation for the inspections and maintenance is Bluesky (not BM TRADA and their accepted repairs), but the replacement doors are under BM TRADA.The work was completed, with handover of BM TRADA maintenance or installation certification and relevant manufacturer O&Ms.
