The initial engagement followed fire risk assessment actions, evolving building safety requirements, and changes to the building's fire strategy. Following detailed fire door inspections and compartmentation surveys, LAC worked closely with the managing agent, fire safety consultant, and fire safety officer to develop a phased programme of remedial works. This approach prioritised higher risk elements whilst establishing an ongoing inspection, maintenance, and improvement strategy to support long term compliance.

To date, 23 communal fire door sets have been replaced, with maintenance works undertaken across the wider fire door portfolio. Compartmentation surveys and fire stopping works have also been completed and subsequently reviewed following updates to the building's fire strategy. All replacement fire doors and fire stopping works are installed and certified under the BM TRADA Q-Mark Fire Door and Fire Stopping Installation Schemes, with fire door inspections certified under BlueSky Certification.

This project forms part of a long standing relationship with the client, with LAC supporting their wider residential portfolio for over seven years. The relationship continues to develop through ongoing compliance support, inspection programmes, maintenance planning, consultation and fire safety improvement works.

Comprehensive task-specific RAMS and toolbox talks are produced and issued prior to each phase of works.
