LAC Services (East Anglia) Ltd was established in 2007 by Darren Carter, drawing on his background in insulation and passive fire protection. From the beginning, the company has been built around a hands-on, family-run approach, and whilst LAC has grown significantly over the years, those values remain central to how we operate today.
A significant period of growth began in 2019 when Darren’s son, Luke, joined the business with a vision to expand its services and introduce dedicated fire door inspection, maintenance and installation capabilities. From an initial office operating from a family home, the team has continued to grow alongside its client portfolio, with dedicated office and site teams now delivering a comprehensive range of passive fire protection services.
Continued investment in the business will see LAC move into a purpose-designed office and warehouse facility, creating the next stage in the company’s development. LAC remains a family-run SME, with directors actively involved with both our teams and clients on a daily basis. We pride ourselves on building genuine, long-term relationships, and much of our continued growth has come through client recommendations and repeat business.
We believe this reflects the personal, practical and reliable service we provide. We take the time to understand each client’s requirements, offering honest advice and practical solutions rather than simply recommending replacement where repair or maintenance may be the more appropriate option.
